Steps to install the CICS Interface product

To install the tableBASE CICS Interface, perform the following steps:

1. Step 1—Modify default parameters (optional)
2. Step 2—Copy tableBASE load modules (optional)
3. Step 3—Convert from BDAM table libraries to VSAM (optional)
4. Step 4—Create CICS definitions for tableBASE libraries
5. Step 5—Create CICS definitions for tableBASE programs and transactions
6. Step 6—Create CICS definitions for tableBASE journal files
7. Step 7—Edit PLT
8. Step 8—Update binder procedure to use new TBLBASE API
9. Step 9—Customize CICS startup JCL
10. Step 10—Confirm successful CICS Interface install
11. Step 11—Change system abends to task abends
