It is possible to customize your tablesONLINE/CICS environment to suit your own organization.
The User Profile table contains an entry for each user that stores information about the user’s environment. When setting up your initial tablesONLINE/CICS environment, you may create a customized default entry in this table, which will be used as a starting point by each new user.
A facility is provided that allows you to customize both the Help and Tutorial tables for your system. Changes made to these tables at the administrative level affect the help and tutorial information for your entire tablesONLINE/CICS system. It is also possible for application developers to create application specific help, as described in the tablesONLINE/CICS User’s Guide.
The tablesONLINE/CICS software includes a Constants table. This table contains the system names for commands, system wildcard, applications and libraries. The names assigned to all of these items may be customized for your organization.
You may edit the MRO table, to identify applications that exist in other CICS sessions.
