Starting with Version 6, a VTS-TSR can be accessed using the same commands, and operates in a similar manner, as the local TSR. The chapter entitled “tableBASE commands” in the tableBASE Programming Guide describes these commands in detail.
The chapter entitled “TBDRIVER command processor for Batch/TSO” in the tableBASE Programming Guide describes the commands implemented in the DK1TDRV utility. In addition, there are several DK1TDRV commands that are unique to the VTS Agent. They may be accessed by anyone using DK1TDRV. As the tableBASE Administrator, it is your responsibility to control access to these commands, if desired, and, if so, to take measures to restrict their use.
Some commands for DK1TDRV accept the asterisk (*) as a wildcard in the table name to allow operating on a set of tables. Please refer to the chapter entitled “TBRIVER command processor for Batch/TSO” in the tableBASE Programming Guide for a complete list of these commands.
